These technologies go a long way to empowering our vending guests and customers to have the best possible vending experiences. Our technology philosophy is one of enablement for the best experience. There are technologies out there that are not yet proven (e.g. biometrics) that we have not yet adopted because we don’t believe the benefits outweigh the costs. e.g. how many people want this technology at the expense of additional readers, potential problems, cleaning, maintenance, and possible perception of germs (e.g. biometrics)?

  • Fresh food. This stems from quality products from quality suppliers.  This includes freshness checks at each machine.
  • Providing the most desired food products through:
    • Analysis and use of the data to provide a better self-service experience.
    • A commitment to cycling in new products to continuously gauge consumer tastes and preferences.
    • Monitoring of trade/food industry publications and research to monitor change.
  • Delivering efficiently on a continuous basis with polite, courteous, unobtrusive, first-class service.

Company Founder

Robert Misasi, President/Founder

Robert Misasi is a successful entrepreneur running companies and ventures in the financial services sector for the past 20+ years, notably the Mercator Advisory Group (which he sold in 2022).

Rob's prior experiences have included work with the TowerGroup (now Gartner) and work with Deloitte & Touche, LLP in NYC.

Rob is passionate about entrepreneurship and small business. He commits himself fully to each venture and has become fascinated (his wife would say obsessed) with the world of self-service vending machines and the technologies and service offerings that are changing the customer experience.

Rob and Viligant Vending's team are committed to delivering advanced vending solutions with a commitment to exceptional service.
